Introduction
1. Hastelloy B3 Alloy pipe is a new member of Ni-Mo alloy family. Hastelloy B3 Alloy pipe has excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at any temperature and concentration. At the same time, Hastelloy B3 Alloy pipe has good corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid and other non-oxidizing media.
2. Due to the adjustment of its chemical composition, its thermal stability has been greatly improved compared with the Hastelloy B2 Alloy pipe. Hastelloy B3 Alloy pipe has high resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion, knife edge corrosion and heat affected zone corrosion.
Metallographic structure
Hastelloy B3 Alloy pipe has a face centered cubic structure.
The content of Fe and Cr in the alloy is controlled to a minimum, which hinders the precipitation of ni4mo phase from 700 鈩?to 800 鈩? thus reducing the risk of processing embrittlement.
